JULY 2008
Judy Hanson has been a member of the Aurora Association of Insurance Professionals since 1984. She has served as President many times over the years and has served on every committee at our local level. She has even given her own money to help keep the Association going. Judy has attended almost every State Council meeting over the years, and served as State Council Director in 1999. She has been on every committee at our Regional Conferences and National Conventions. Judy has also co-chaired Regional Conferences, Council meetings and Fall Weekends. She states that she enjoyed the networking and education that came with being a member of NAIW.
After a 39 year career at Farmers Insurance she has retired. Her membership has come to an end and she will truly be missed in our Association and in NAIW. She has made many close relationships with members of NAIW around the world. I would like to give a BIG Thanks to Judy for all of her support for so many years.

Northwest Suburban Illinois Professionals (NSIP) is the member spotlight for May because not one member could achieve
what this group has done in these first three years of being chartered.
The current leadership team is appropriately in the background of
this picture, because everything has been a group effort. The chapter
is made up of insurance agents and personal lines managers in independent
agencies, and company personnel including underwriting managers and
marketing representatives. Members have earned CISR, AAI and CIC designations.
One member said the following about NAIW: “I enjoy being apart
of NAIW because it expands my knowledge of the insurance industry
as a whole and allows me to meet new people.” NSIP is happy
to include Brenda McClain and Sheila Minniti, both members at large
in the local meeting when they’re able to attend. NSIP is working
hard and invites all of you in Illinois to come to Illinois Council
Convention November 14-15 at the Amerisuites in Schaumburg for fun,
fellowship and some NAIW business.
